I have been cooking and baking for many years, first learning how to bake as a young child with my Grandfather in the kitchen. Turned my passion and interest in baking into a business following redundancy from my full-time job in the financial services sector.
I am now doing a job that I thoroughly enjoy and hope that this is shown in the work that I produce.
Trained in various techniques including sugar flowers, cocoa butter painting, buttercream, modelling chocolate and French Macarons. Gained Level 3 Baking and Cupcake Diploma and I am a member of the BSG (British Sugarcraft Guild).
I’m married to a wonderful patient husband, Mark and I have a grown-up son, Callum who has flown the nest and living in Yorkshire. That leaves me, hubby and our little ‘fur baby’ Poppy, a rescue from Battersea Cats & Dogs Home who became a member of the family in December 2015.
